The Tour's Route: Through Life and History in 90 Minutes
Scene I: From World Politics to the Heart of the City
We're starting at Pariser Platz, right at the Brandenburg Gate, the worldwide symbol of unity. A quick sweep leads us to the Reichstag and the Chancellery, before we dive into the green lung of the city, Tiergarten. Past the Goethe monument, we reach the impressive Holocaust Memorial – a place that invites you to pause before we pick up speed towards modernity.
Scene II: Bunker, Wall & Music Legends
From the historic site of the Führerbunker, we head for the Potsdamer Platz Here, the division of Berlin becomes tangible: we look at original pieces of the Wall right next to the futuristic architecture of the Sony Center. A special highlight for music fans: we pass the legendary Hansa Studios, which stars like David Bowie made music history, and reach the grounds of the „Topography of Terror“.
Scene III: Escape Story & Chocolate Delight
We glide to Checkpoint Charlie, the scene of the tank confrontation, and leave the Cold War behind us to turn into the luxurious Friedrichstraße. The goal: The famous chocolate house on Gendarmenmarkt. An experience for all the senses awaits you here: Marvel at 500 kg chocolate landmarks and enjoy a small, exclusive house delicacy, which we have in store for you as a thank you. Afterwards, we will use one of Europe's most beautiful squares – the Gendarmenmarkt – for an unforgettable photo stop.
Scene IV: Prussia's Splendour & Museum Island
Passing Bebelplatz (the site of the book burning) and the State Opera, we arrive at the architectural heart of old Berlin. We cross the Museum Island with views of Berlin Cathedral and the rebuilt City Palace. Passing the historic bullet holes from World War II, we take in the full splendour of „Under the Linden Trees“ Up. Past the grand embassies and the Hotel Adlon, we return to the starting point at the Brandenburg Gate.
